Yesterday marked the first day of Spring 2024, though in true Canadian fashion, it snowed. This year, I've been eagerly looking forward to Spring more than ever before. As I revisit photos of my mom's garden throughout the past year, I find myself growing even more excited for what lies ahead. So, I thought I'd share the beauty of the garden through all its seasons in this post.
Growing up, Summer was always my favorite season, while Spring often seemed dreary. However, as I've grown older, I've come to appreciate living in an area with four distinct seasons. Despite my wish for a shorter Winter, I've learned to see the incredible beauty of Spring. It brings such excitement and joy for the future. As the earth warms and snow melts away, the scent of soil and the songs of birds mark its arrival. There's truly nothing quite like it.
These images evoke happy memories and fill me with immense joy. The beauty my mom has cultivated is breathtaking and feels like a slice of heaven for both myself and others.
